Does muscle weigh more than fat?

The short answer is NO! 1Ib of fat weighs the same as 1Ib of muscle. The difference is the density.

Here's an example - 1Ib of marshmallows is going to take up way more space than 1Ib of steel. The same can be said about fat and muscle.

1Ib of fat is soft and bulky and about the size of a baseball or a small grapefruit, whereas 1Ib of  muscle is hard and dense and about the size of a tangerine. An extra 14Ibs of fat will give you a softer, less toned look. An extra 14Ibs will give you a more sculpted, toned look.

Lifting weights WILL NOT make you bulky. It will make you sexy.
